Изучалась цитоархитектоника коры поля 10 префронтальной коры лобной области мозга мужчин (10 полушарий) и мозга женщин (10 полушарий) в старческом возрасте. В работе использованы современные морфометрические методы. В результате проведенного исследования были выявлены половые отличия возрастных изменений ведущих цитоархитектонических характеристик коры поля 10 лобной области мозга мужчин и женщин. Установлено, что толщина коры поля 10, толщина ассоциативного слоя III, площадь профильного поля нейронов этого слоя в старческом возрасте при сравнении с пожилым изменяется в большей степени у мужчин, чем у женщин.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The study was carried out on a series of frontal total paraffin sections with a thickness of 20 ^m, colored with cresyl violet by the Nissl method. The cytoarchitectonic of the cortex of the area 10 of the prefrontal cortex of the frontal region of the brain of men (10 hemispheres) and the brain of women (10 hemispheres) in old age was studied. Modern morphometric methods were used in the work. As a result of the study, sex differences in age-related changes in the leading cytoarchitectonic characteristics of the cortex of the 10th frontal region of the brain of men and women were revealed.
