Большинство исследований основаны на результатах прямых измерений костных препаратов черепов, однако современные методы лучевой диагностики позволяют получить полноценное представление о форме, взаиморасположении с другими анатомическими структурами. Результаты оценки лучевых изображений шиловидного отростка височной кости носят единичный характер. Цель исследования - представить результаты измерений размеров шиловидного отростка височной кости и его взаимоотношений с иными частями шило-подъязычного комплекса, полученных при анализе изображений мультиспиральной компьютерной томографии у пациентов без патологии этой анатомической зоны. Измерялись длина и ширина отростка, расстояние до малого рога подъязычной кости, а также рост и вес пациентов в зависимости от возраста. Установлено, что мультиспиральная компьютерная томография является точным методом определения параметров шиловидного отростка. Статистически значимых взаимосвязей между анатомическими параметрами шиловидного отростка, другими элементами шилоподъязычного комплекса, полом, ростом и возрастом обследованных не установлено.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>There are a number of publications in the literature that describe osteometric measurements of the styloid process of the temporal bone. Most studies are based on the results of direct measurements of bone preparations of the skulls; however, modern radiation research allows you to get a complete picture of the shape, relative position with other anatomical structures. Obtained results are rare. The purpose of the study was to present the results of measurements of the styloid process of the temporal bone and its relationships with other parts of the stylo-hyoidal complex obtained by analyzing images of multi-spiral computed tomography in patients without pathology of this anatomical zone. The length and width of the process, the distance to the small horn of the hyoid bone, and the height and weight of patients depending on age were measured. It has been established that multi-spiral computed tomography is an accurate method for determining the parameters of the styloid process.
